I ordered some prints of Christian from Derek.
They are beautiful! The colors are exquisite.
Derek was very considerate in corresponding with me to make sure that I got the prints and loved them.
He also contacted the Safari company for me.
I bought several prints and l love them!

I really appreciate being able to correspond directly with Derek.
You don't often get a personal touch like that when buying over the internet.

I first found Christian the Lion through a friends blog and was blown away.
I then searched and found this website. I now own a print of Christian
and display it proudly in my den. It reminds me how true love can know
no bounds and every day we need to care for the world around us.
I get to have a stunning piece of art and support charity too.

Thanks Derek, the print is amazing and so full of life and love.
Here's hoping I can get more soon.

When You Tube first ran the video that took the world by storm of
Christian's reunion with John and Ace,  I was unaware of it.  It was
only several months later that a friend forwarded it, and my love of
lions and interest in Africa was re-ignited.   Like many people I
watched the video repeatedly and marveled at that moment of
recognition when Christian realizes that the two figures below are his
friends. The rest is history.

Long a rescuer and lover of all animals, and one who believes that
they are much wiser than many would admit, I started researching this
particular story and looking for books and ephemera to make a
"Christian" shelf in my library.  This led me to call Derek Cattani
whose kindness and hospitality turned into a dream come true when I
was in London and able not only to meet the engaging John Rendall and
lovely Jennifer-Mary Taylor, but to see Derek and revel in his photos
first hand.  Making a choice was oh so hard, but I finally  came away
with a couple of the London shots.  If you have seen the photos in the
book, you are in for even more of a treat.  Derek's prints are a
testament of his careful and sensitive record of Christian's life.
The quality is top of the line, the colors beautifully shaded, the
black and white prints crisp and intense, and in all of them,
Christian's personality shines through.  Treat yourself and support
the George Adamson Wildlife Preservation Trust as well.  Your walls
will be happy, and so will you every time you look at those smiling eyes.
